Special Offerings

Retreats

Each semester we offer either a one-day or weekend retreat designed to help us get away from the demands of student life and refocus on what is most important to our lives as Christ's disciples. Retreats are also a great way to rekindle old friendships or make entirely new ones.

Christian Service

Part of being a Christian (and a member of the Newman Community) is serving Christ by serving others. This can be serving at a soup kitchen, helping with our local food bank, visiting senior citizens, or many other activities.

Confirmation

For those desiring to be Confirmed, we ask you first to become an active participant in the life of the Newman Community. This includes joining us for Sunday Mass, attending our Retreats, participating in service to the community, and attending either Catholic 101 or the Bible Study. For those who have begun this process, specific sessions to prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation will be held in the Spring semester.
